Curiosity is the key to learning.
My pedagogy centers on teaching students to be adaptable thinkers, theater-makers, and humans. I deploy adaptability through five primary methods that inform my class structure: adapting works to engage the current zeitgeist and tell contemporary stories while teaching text analysis; encouraging collaboration to create despite differences; incorporating various perspectives and research methods to deepen critical thinking; adjusting my courses to individual student and classrooms interests and learning needs; and engaging social, cultural, and political events in an ever-changing world into the classroom to emphasize contemporary content.
