Isabel Smith-Bernstein is a dramaturg with a passion for heightened language. She has worked at the Utah Shakespeare Festival, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, as well as at smaller theaters.
She is a doctoral candidate in Theater History at the University of Colorado Boulder and holds a bachelors in humanities and arts in history and dramaturgy from Carnegie Mellon University. Her work focuses on what adaptation of Shakespeare tells us about historical narratives as well as oath-making in the history plays.
